The revelation that the NIO has banned all portraits of Her Majesty The Queen from their buildings is grossly offensive and disrespectful to many people here in Northern Ireland.
Boris Johnson was last night said to have been "puzzled" to learn that the NIO had banned the Queen's picture from the walls of its Belfast headquarters.
