The return of schools might be several months away in Northern Ireland but it was fascinating to see another of our prominent principals speak out on the subject on Wednesday.
Stephen Black of Ballymena Academy warned that social distancing in schools is almost unmanageable as he said that many lessons could be done online if such requirements were still required of schools when pupils return to the classroom in August or September.
Education Minister Peter Weir has previously warned the return of schools will not involve an immediate return to normality with lessons to be staggered and class sizes limited.
It is difficult to reconcile all the talk around social distancing in schools with some of the pictures on our television screens over the last week. There didn't seem to be much social distancing on Bournemouth beach for example as thousands congregated to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather.
There have also been unfortunate scenes in Northern Ireland in recent days, with crowds of drunk young people gathering at one of the Province's best known beauty spots on Monday. Translink's chief executive told a Stormont committee that there were so many people at Helen's Bay railway station that people were in danger of 'being crushed'.
