This is your Coronavirus update from the team at the News Letter:
Four more deaths have been reported of patients who had tested positive for Covid-19. Northern Ireland's Department of Health said there had been 1,060 new confirmed cases in the last 24-hour reporting period. On Wednesday morning there were 397 Covid-19 patients in hospital, with 34 in intensive care. In all, 2,509,462 vaccines have been administered. Meanwhile Finance minister Conor Murphy says other departments' may have to pitch in with funds to keep Ulster NHS afloat. Ministers may need to surrender money from their own departments to help address problems engulfing Northern Ireland's health service, Conor Murphy has said.
Sir Michael McBride has told the Stormont education committee that keeping children in school is a "key priority". He said that in previous waves of the pandemic this has not been possible, adding it had been "very damaging" to children both in terms of mental health and education.

* Edwin Poots has said: We must urgently let more immigrants come to work in Ulster's food industry. Government immigration policy must be changed within days if the UK is to prevent food shortages due to a lack of labour in processing plants, a Stormont minister has warned.
* 'British scum': BBC Nolan caller from Belfast explodes at former top Tory over Universal Credit. A caller to the Nolan Show this morning referred to one of the show's guests as "British scum" and told her to "leave our country".
