Coronavirus daily briefing: Balmoral Show will not take place in 2020

News   What's On   Lifestyle              Apr 27, 2020           In a big blow for the agriculture industry here, the organisers of the Balmoral Show confirmed it will not take place at all in 2020.   The organisers had originally put the planned date of the show back to August from the scheduled date of May, but they have now conceded that August will also not be a feasible time.    Stormont is taking steps to try and prevent a worsening situation at one of the most affected parts of Northern Ireland from coronavirus - our care homes.   Health Minister Robin Swann announced today that care homes here are to receive a  £6.5 million funding boost.
