Good afternoon, There was welcome news this afternoon for Northern Ireland's Covid-hit businesses as Economy Minister Diane Dodds announced new support worth £6m. The two schemes will be operated by Invest Northern Ireland and are opening for applications tomorrow. "I've always said it should never be a binary choice between health and the economy - the two are inextricably linked," Mrs Dodds said during today's Stormont press conference. Meanwhile, there remains confusion over when someone should seek a Covid-19 test. The Public Health Agency issued a reminder today of the importance of booking a test if anyone displays symptoms of the illness. However, it is also stressing that those who are not displaying any of these symptoms should avoid booking a test as they could be taking the place of someone who needs one. Worryingly, it appears that some people in Northern Ireland with symptoms have been unable to book a test. Stay safe. Valerie Martin, Head of Content. Want total access to all of our online content?
