Good afternoon, There is no doubt the news that positive Covid-19 cases have been reported in 64 separate schools across Northern Ireland will bring concern to many families. Just two weeks into the new school term, which was met by a strange mix of relief and anxiety, it has emerged that 88 cases have been recorded among pupils or staff, according to the Department of Education. Health Minister Robin Swann indicated this afternoon that he would recommend a further tightening of some restrictions to tomorrow's Executive meeting. Meanwhile, Prince William paid tribute to Northern Ireland's emergency services during a visit to the Province today. "Your dedication is not only apparent when we are faced with a global pandemic," he said. Keep safe. Valerie Martin, Head of Content. Want total access to all of our online content?
